Overview
The hotel lies directly on the beautiful Cote d'Or beach of Praslin in a carefully maintained tropical garden. The beach is one of the nicest on the island and the calm waters are perfect for swimming and families with children. The hotel is named after the mahogany (acajou) which were specially cultivated for environment-friendly construction in a man-made forest of southern africa.
The lush setting and natural theme of this property offers guests a relaxing and tranquil stay.
Accommodation
Thirty two tastefully decorated rooms spread out admist casuarina and takamaka trees by the water's edge, each room with a balcony facing the sea. Now 32 rooms 24 standards, 04 superior and 04 deluxe rooms, each is equipped with bath / Shower with hot and cold water, hairdryer, air- conditioning, IDD telephone, television with satellite TV, mini fridge, mini bar (on request) and piped music.
Restaurants & Bars
Main Restaurant the main restaurant which serves breakfast and dinner, opens onto the garden, amidst frangipani, hibiscus and takamaka trees. Dinner is a mix between table d'hote and buffet, of both creole and international origin. Sitting Capacity - 60 pax main Bar located in the main buiding, it opens on to the garden. A variety of drinks and tropical cocktail is served. Beach Bar and Restaurant this open air restaurant is located by the water's edge on the breathtaking beach of Cote D'Or. Whilst you choose from our light a la carte menu, let the barman tempt you to a long cool drink or a tropical cocktail. Sitting capacity - 40 pax.
